Tonight, local coffee, local food, local music, local beer and local cider will collide in a Halloween rager. Beginning at 8 PM at Dark Matter Coffee, Co-Op sauce will provide the eats while Revolution, Half Acre and Virtue will fuel the booze. At 10 PM the party moves to Star Lounge for sets by Wild Jesus and Black Bear Combo (773-697-8472).

Smash some pumpkins for a good cause while drinking Sailor Jerry's, eating pie, drinking beer, fighting over who is next with the sledgehammer and then settling differences over pumpkin cocktails. We really just hope no one gets hurt. The debauchery starts Saturday at 9 PM and ends when then last pumpkin bites the dust (312-243-1577).

The name really does say it all for Saturday’s “White Trash Drinking Bash.” The party kicks off at 9 PM with costumed guests enjoying $3 PBR tallboys, Moonshine shots and Jim Beam Devil’s Cut shots or a$5 Jeppson’s Malort shots. Food includes burgers, pulled pork sandwiches and fried lamb brains in a garlic beet sauce. The best costume will earn a VIP table for 7 people with Pinnacle bottle service (312-733-9333).

In the market for some PG Halloween festivities? There will be pumpkin carving and apple bobbing on the patio from noon to 6 PM on Sunday. Did we mention those apples will be floating in Virtue Red Streak cider? Ok, maybe we will leave the PG fun in the suburbs (773-276-7110).
