Tricks and Treats: Last-Minute Halloween Stunts

Just as you're about to cut out early for some Halloween fun, here are a few more freebies and discounts around town. Hell, you're already in costume, might as well try to score (at least in the food and drink department) while you're at it.

Tart: Anyone in Halloween costume who jumps in the pool at the Farmer's Daughter Hotel tonight will get half off their dinner at the restaurant (115 S. Fairfax Ave.; 323-556-2608).

Fritzi Dog: Anyone in a hot dog costume gets a free hot dog at the new Farmers Market spot. If you go as many small hot dogs, maybe you can get the sampler? (6333 W. 3rd St.; 310-555-5500)

Bar Pintxo: Wear your Halloween costume to Joe Miller's Santa Monica tapas spot tonight and get a free cocktail or dessert. There's also pumpkin paella, hopefully not the pumpkin from the Headless Horseman (109 Santa Monica Blvd.; 310-458-2012).

Loteria Grill: Poke your head in the giant loteria cards at all of the restaurants (except Farmers Market) and take a photo for a chance to win Cirque du Soleil tickets or dinner for two at any LG location. The photos will go on the Facebook for voting (offer good at Hollywood, Studio City, Santa Monica and Westlake Village).
