Tous Les Jours is planning to open its first Boston locale in Allston at the former site of Kelly’s Roast Beef, according to a
Boston.com report filed earlier today. The South Korean company owns more than 1,000 locations worldwide, with about 12 in the U.S. - the closest currently being in Burlington, MA. Expect a spring opening date, and menu items such as sweet and savory pastries, donuts, sandwiches, coffee and more (1227 Commonwealth Ave.). It’s also confirmed that
Sweetgreen, a D.C.-based cafe specializing in salads and frozen yogurt, will be heading to 659 Boylston St. in the Back Bay come spring 2013. According to the Sweetgreen website, there are already 14 locations concentrated on the Eastern Seaboard [
Boston Magazine].
