Tonic on Hiatus, Others Call It a Day

To update Boston closings, The Purple Shamrock is indeed now closed, as well as Z Rant and Noche. Noche is slated to reopen at a new location across town in the Spring of 2013, according to the Website. In its place at 3 Appleton Street in the South End will be a “new, fun concept” slated to open next winter.

Eater Boston reported today that Andiamo in Charlestown is also closed. The restaurant was owned by Legendary Restaurant Group (Sip Wine Bar, Max & Dylans among others).

Tonic, which opened a few months ago in JP, has a Facebook posting from October 3, 2012: “We are currently on Vacation till end of Month .... Due to personal surgery, it been longer than anticipated.”[sic]
