Tashan Launches New Cocktails and Hosts Amrut Dinner

In the spirit of mixing things up for fall, Avenue of the Arts Indian restaurant Tashan has introduced six new cocktails to the menu, including the Karma Sutra (Shine White whisky, cinnamon, egg white, black walnut bitters) and East India Trading (Amrut Old Port rum, chai, pomegranate molasses).

To showcase some of the new selections, on October 24 chef Sylva Senat will be preparing a six-course dinner paired with beverages containing spirits from Indian distiller Amrut. The first-course will include a cocktail hour featuring single malts, and the rest of the meal will have one paired cocktail per dish. Among the menu items are Wagyu beef with soy reduction, onion pakora, cucumber-peanut relish; pan-seared red snapper; and wood-smoked quail with tamarind and peanut stuffing.
