Simon's Too Adds to the Coffee Love in Cambridge

As far as coffee shops go, Simon’s Cofffee Shop in Cambridge is one of our favorites. It’s funky, relaxing, and they serve great coffee, roasted in the next town over by Barismo, small-batch coffee roasters.

Now the better news: Simon’s Too, their second location at 938 Mass. Ave., between Harvard and Central squares, recently opened. This cafe has 16 seats and a kitchen, which unlike their first kitchen, will serve both hot as well as cold food. Options will include breakfast sandwiches (egg, cheddar and tomato on brioche), soups (red lentil coconut with vegetables) and other sandwiches (Korean marinated grilled beef with kimchee and spinach on brioche). Prices range from $1.55 (pastries)-$9 (sandwiches).

Plus, you'll get the same friendly service and the same delish coffee made from La Marzocco Italian espresso machine. The new store has a GB5, the original an FB80. Fancy for, "It's all good."

Oh, but will your latte foam get the same love? (Simon’s is known for the baristas’ artful images swept into the foam on your lattes and cappuccinos.) Yes, it will, promises barista Dustin. (Praise be).

Simon’s Too is open weekdays, 7 AM-7 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, 8 AM-6 PM.
