A reader sent word of two new openings on opposite side of the NYC map. The first up is in what's seemingly the busiest area for new city restaurants: Williamsburg. We have scant details about the joint, but signage is up for Oregano, what we're assuming is an Italian joint at 100 Berry Street. We'll be sniffing around for details.
Over in Hell's Kitchen, a new Asian joint dubbed Satya Eastern Kitchen is set to take over a space that formerly housed Irish pub McHales. There are literally dozens of Asian inspired restaurants in this area - this is the Eighth Avenue side of Restaurant Row - and it seems like tourists just can't get enough. Stay tuned to the restaurants Twitter account for info.
