Blue Bell Southern Italian/Mediterranean restaurant L'Angolo Blue has debuted a fall menu that includes traditional favorites like rigatoni bolognese and vitello con pomodori secchi e gamberi (veal, with sun-dried tomatoes and shrimp, pictured) along with salads, burgers, panini and more. To showcase the new offerings, on Tuesday, October 30 at 6 PM chef Manuel Jimenez will host a $75 six-course wine dinner featuring, lobster catalana, braised oxtail and more (602 Skippack Pike; 215-641-6789).
Over in Chestnut Hill, Cafette welcomes a new chef, and in turn, a new menu. Bela Durst has debuted dishes like seared poblano pepper stuffed with creamy jack cheese grits, smoky tomato sauce, spiced pumpkin seeds and sour cream ($11); slow-roasted baby back ribs ($18); and a daily steak and pasta of the day (8136 Ardleigh St.; 215-242-4220).
