DC Metro’s restaurant scene exploded with activity last week. Opening its doors were Fuego Cocina y Tequileria, a classy Mexican in Clarendon; a hip American gastropub, Drafting Table, on 14th St. NW; The Coupe, a much anticipated 24-hour Columbia Heights coffeehouse/diner; a Tenleytown location for the fast casual Greek-Med favorite, Cava Mezze Grill and a Smashburger joint in Fairfax. Meanwhile Firefly, the sparkly hideaway below DuPont Circle emerged after a must-see redo. Check out the action in the slide show below.
