| Tacos al Pastor (marinated pork) at Anna's Taqueria |
Yeah, we know. There’s a day for everything. So, why not celebrate National Taco Day (today, October 4) by, well, eating tacos. Here’re a few spots to hit:
Turner Fisheries in the Back Bay (11:30 AM-10 PM; 617-424-7425) will feature a taco special all day - two soft corn tortillas filled with lobster, topped with corn-fennel pico and ancho aioli for $16. At
Anna’s Taqueria locations, a portion of all taco sales (tacos are under $3, their normal price!) will go toward Jumpstart, a Boston-based nonprofit focused on helping kids in low-income families learn to read. Finally,
Tico in the Back Bay (617-351-0400) is instituting its Tuesday-is-Taco-Day deal today. That is, for any PatrĂ³n cocktail ordered (margarita, on the rocks, etc.) you get a free chicken, beef or pork taco. ¡Muy beuno! Got your own? Tell us.
