In Ice Cream News: Free Sprinkles Scoops Today, Coolhaus to Pasadena

Hi, fourth 90-degree October day in a row. While the endless summer continues in LA, we've got some cool, sweet news for you. Today through Friday, head over to Sprinkles Ice Cream in Beverly Hills to get 2-for-1 scoops. That's right: get a free second scoop when you buy one (limit one per person). And, hey, since Halloween is right around the corner, you can make them both candy corn flavored! [GS] 

And keep this in your pocket for holiday shopping in Old Town Pasadena. The Coolhaus gals, Natasha Case and Freya Estreller, have taken over the Foot Locker on Colorado Boulevard and will be replacing it with ice cream sandwiches. And ice cream cakes. And hot chocolate (it does get cold in Pasadena...really!). This will make the second brick-and-mortar for the architecturally stylish treats, and helps amp up the hipster quotient just a little more for the block that now houses Intelligentsia and Umami Burger.
