Residents of Hell's Kitchen have long appreciated Bocca di Bacco, a casual Italian eatery with a marble wine bar that is better than many of the other red-sauce joints on Ninth Avenue. They crew behind that joint recently opened a new location in the Theater District, and we just learned that they will also open in Chelsea this month. The model will be largely the same, with fare from chef Kristin Sollenne that can be paired with over 300 Italian wines, with 60 by the glass. A large selection of pasta will be served and the decor will feature some exposed brick, chesterfield sofas and a black-leather wall. The opening is slated for the end of October (169 Ninth Ave.; 212-229-2459).
