Decisions, decisions. Beer or liquor? It’s a debate that spans the generations and happens at bars all over the world on any given night. Why do we have to choose? Enjoy both in a carefully crafted “beertail,” a genius creations that combines spirits with beer, in addition to syrups and bitters, for drinking experience impossible to refuse.
Prost!
With an entire menu of “beertails” this German beer hall is the place to start when exploring liquor and ale combinations. The Southern
This version of a bloody Mary features all the classics – Effen cucumber vodka, tomato juice and hot sauce in a salted glass – with one special addition. It is topped with a little Lone Star Beer. What’s the best part? The remainder of the beer acts as a sidecar.
Red Door
Literally over flowing with Chicago spirit, the Chi75 is a unique concoction is a take of the French 75. Instead of champagne it uses Chicago’s own 312 and replaces gin with Malort. It has all of the elegance of the classic cocktail with none of the class.
Big Star
Maybe save this drink for when summer returns and the hot sun beats down on our face while sitting on the patio. Sorry we got lost in a daydream. In that dream, we were sipping a Michelada made with Tecate, lime and house-made hot sauce, served in a salt-rimmed glass over ice.
