Yaki - the Japanese bakery on Goodge Street - is proving to Londoners that not all Japanese food is raw or expensive. On the menu you'll find taiyaki - a traditional fish-shaped waffle sandwich that can be ordered with sweet or savoury fillings including azuki beans, azuki and cheese, banana and chocolate, tuna and mayo, ham and egg. It's a tasty and fun alternative to a bread sandwich and makes a welcome change from sushi.
