Disco Bistro Pops Up at The Rising Sun for Six Months

It might sound like a party, but Disco Bistro is in fact the name of chef Carl Clarke's six month residency at The Rising Sun pub in St. Paul's starting on November 12. The temporary takeover on Carter Lane in East London from the God Save the Clam and Rock Lobsta toque will be split between the first floor dining room and the downstairs bar with a focus on upmarket British fare made from well-sourced ingredients with Clarke's signature madcap touch.

Expect dishes like cheddar and rye doughnuts with quince ketchup, Roe Deer and raspberry stout pudding, spiced pumpkin and pickled elder or Cornish bream with kale and Marmite turnips - as well as other meats and fish cooked on wood and charcoal served with wild and foraged greens. Downstairs you have 'trash food' to look forward to which includes French dipped burger or the fried chicken wrapped in pigskin and lobster corn dog from Clarke's recent God Save the Clam pop-up.

E-mail reservations@discobistroEC4.co.uk now for bookings. Trust us, this is not one you want to miss.
