Autumn can be a tough time for those who can’t eat wheat, what with Oktoberfest lagers, hearty pastas, pumpkin ales, pumpkin pies and all the other fall bread-based specialties. Celiac sufferers in search of harvest season food and drink will find a savior in
Davio's. Next week, from October 22-28, the Rittenhouse steakhouse is offering a gluten-free beer dinner. The meal includes potato gnocchi, beef short ribs and a vanilla panna cotta for $50 per person, with an $18 pairing of Redbridge gluten-free lager and Magners apple and pear ciders. Reservations are available by calling 215-563-4810.
