David Ansill’s New Menu at Bar Ferdinand to Launch November 5

Over the summer, David Ansill returned from Jamaica to helm the kitchen at Northern Liberties’ Bar Ferdinand. The chef had gained a devoted following, thanks to his imaginative, modern French country cuisine at former Bella Vista BYO Pif. Since September, guests have been able to enjoy small doses of this culinary talent with Bar Ferdinand’s Thursday night tasting dinners.

Fans will be happy to hear that starting Monday, November 5, the restaurant will launch an entire regular menu designed by the top toque. A few Spanish tapas items will remain, such as the crispy patatas bravas (served with seared shishito peppers), but most dishes will be pure Ansill.
