More Sandy scenes continue to come in over the transom, as restaurants in Downtown Manhattan figure out what to do with no power. A reader tipped us of to this photo of Bleecker Street Pizza. Their plan? Keep the ovens fired up and serve the hungry neighborhood residents. Eater has word that Cowboy Pizza in the East Village did this joint one better, offering their customers a chance to charge their cellphones in a generator.
As the city continues to restore itself, keep the tips coming to jmulcahy@zagat.com.
