Some of us are in the minority - we don't like egg-white omelets. Blasphemy for an Angeleno, we know. But the breakfast fritatta verde at
Fig changed our mind. It's a simple fritatta filled with asparagus and herbs, and topped with fresh shaved asparagus, broccolini and a tomatillo-avocado salsa. Healthy and bright, it's like a spring garden on a plate (even if it is currently fall). A glass of fresh-squeezed juice, a view out to the Fairmont Hotel's pool - this is what breakfast meetings were made for. Or brunch. Weekend, take note.
