Steve Tzolis and his wife Nicola Kutsoni, who owns
Il Cantinori,
Periyali and
Bar Six, and getting ready to unveil a restaurant called The Bar Room at 117 East 60th St. They plan to open the new spot by Thanksgiving, along with partners Harry Joannides, general manager of Bar Six and Gage Pray, a former manager. The cuisine will be "American Classic" with regional specialties and a range of dishes from a meat loaf sandwich to wild salmon, along with 24 draft beers and small batch whiskeys.
