  1. I have yet to have a superior steak at any one of the multiple River Palm locations. On the other hand, I have been served a steak with a knife that is unworthy of a steak house and would likely have bent if it were used on a "steak tartare". To be out of Prime Rib at 6 PM, is to lie to the customer. Pay the 12 bucks to cross the Hudson and have a great steak at any one of a number of NYC's excellent steak joints.

  2. Kevin never disappoints at Cafe Panache. I have been a regular, well, let's say a semi-regular, since the restaurant open, and fame and praise have not diminished the quality of the meals.

  3. Cheesecake Factory? One of the 5 top in New Jersey? Gimme a break. It is certainly a superior chain, good bang for the buck, but it doesn't belong in anyone's top 5 list.

  4. What happened to South Jersey? Are we a gastronomic wasteland as has been alluded to in the past?

  5. Hidden gem in Asbury Park.
Try Dauphin Grille in the Berkely Hotel.
Don't expect A rushed evening. Relax and enjoy!
