No doubt about it, this year was a great one for Philly food, and it shows in the results from our just-released
2013 Philadelphia Restaurant Survey. Our city added new eateries by the dozen, in neighborhoods all over town. Which arrivals on the scene are the best, the ones you absolutely must try? The top five newcomers in Philadelphia span a huge range of the diverse options here, from a counter service shop that sells out daily, to a traditional Italian to modernist American cooking, to the top spot shocker, which offers diners exquisite cuisine without the use of any animal products whatsoever.
