Would You Eat Sushi at 35,000 Feet?

Can't get a table at Nobu? A trip to Qatar might be the answer. Qatar Airways is now working with chef Nobu Matsuhisa on a special inflight dining menu that has been tweaked to take into account not only the flavours, textures and aromas that work on a plane, but also how the taste buds are altered at 35,000 feet and what types of food are most suited to long-haul flights.

And before you knock plane food, also collaborating with the Middle Eastern airline on their new five star global dining experience is Lebanese chef Ramzi Choueiri, chef Vineet Bhatia from Rasoi and chef Tom Aikens. Next stop Doha.
