Where to Eat and Drink During the London Design Festival

SodaBar in Milan
The fascinating world of design takes over this week with the London Design Festival. We've already told you about Transport for London's Canteen and The Danish Bar, but if you're headed over in the next few days, here are some other interesting pop-up restaurants and bars where you can refuel.

Gelupo
The coolest place to eat? The award-winning ice cream brand will be serving an exclusive range of flavours at Design Junction in The Sorting Office on New Oxford Street.

Fernandez and Wells
Thinking of buying a vintage Artek stool? Take a seat on one, and enjoy a sandwich at the pop-up Fernandez and Wells cafe while you decide.

Wonderwater Cafe
The temporary cafe at Leila's Shop in East London is raising awareness of the water footprint of food. Open until September 23, the menu details the water footprint of every dish and drink on offer, and explains how much is used to produce the different foods and where it comes from in the world.

SodaBar at SodaStream
Enjoy fizzy-drink nostalgia at this pop-up bar in the Madejski Garden at the V&A Museum on September 20. Following a similar project at the Milan Furniture Fair in April, designer Yves Behar aims to reduce the number of cans and plastic bottles used throughout the evening by providing sparkling cocktails from the SodaStream.
