Vetri Update: Guest Sommelier at Amis, Cookbook Dinner at Osteria

While beverage director Steve Wildy can be trusted to stock trusted wines, tomorrow Amis will be hosting Agostino Lenci from Tuscany as a guest sommelier. Three selections (Vermentino "Pagliatura," Morellino di Scansano "Heba" and Sangiovese "Sinarra") will be offered as a $20 flight, or can be ordered by the glass.

On Tuesday, October 16, Osteria will be welcoming its own guest in the form of Michael Genuine Food & Drink's executive pastry chef Hedy Goldsmith. The Miami-based chef will be collaborating with chef Jeff Michaud to prepare a six-course dinner highlighting recipes from her upcoming book Baking Out Loud.
