Thanks to an ongoing city and worldwide obsession with burgers we could turn this into a dedicated burger blog. But we won't. Instead here is a summary of this week's main stories.
MeatMarket - known for its to-die-for American-style burgers (and long queues) - now offers a veggie option made with halloumi cheese and mushrooms.
Burger King added a black bamboo and squid ink burger to the menu. Sounds disgusting? Don't worry - it will only be available in Japan. Gordon Ramsay announced plans to open a huge 5,660-sq.-ft. burger bar called Flame Burger at the Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas. We expect there will be lots of shouting and swearing coming from the kitchen.
And in case you missed this from earlier, British model Lara Stone hopes to open a burger restaurant if her modelling career comes to an end.
