This Is What Martha Stewart Looked Like in 1984
The new lounge in NYC's NoMad Hotel is dubbed The Library, and they take their name seriously. The well-appointed shelves contain one of the best / most eclectic selection of food-related books that we've had the pleasure to peruse. There are cookbooks from Noma, biographies of leading chefs and this: a cookbook dubbed Hors d'Oeuvres, a collection of "fabulous finger foods" from none other that a young Martha Stewart. The guide was published in 1984 and we just had to snap a picture - we're not sure what's more earth shattering, Stewart's sleeves, or her recipe for strange new dishes like "garlic bread."
