The Sinclair: Michael Schlow to Consult at New Live Music Venue

A rendering of The Sinclair
Looks like Michael Schlow (Radius, Via Matta, Alta Strada, Tico, Happy’s Bar & Kitchen) is getting into the nightclub act. The New Jersey native and Boston celeb is the consulting chef for The Sinclair, a live-music club and American restaurant set to open at 52 Church Street in Harvard Square in late October.

While the restaurant will seat about 104, the live-music space will accommodate about 525. The restaurant will have a separate entrance from the music venue, feature two dining areas and a patio. A mezzanine will wrap around the music venue and have its own bar.

“I’m always looking for new and exciting ways to incorporate music into my restaurants,” said Schlow in a statement. “And this project takes the music side to a whole new level. Music is inextricably linked to the dining experience, and I’m excited to be part of The Sinclair.”

Artists Meter Men featuring Page McConnell (10/30), Andrew Jackson Jihad (10/31) and K’Naan (11/4) have been confirmed already according to a press release. The Sinclair will have its own box office, where no-fee tickets will be sold.

The Bowery Presents, a New York City-based promotion company, is behind the venu.
