The Best Thing We Ate Last Night: Sausage at Rosamunde

Last week we took an in depth look at San Francisco transplant Rosamunde Sausage Grill and we already couldn't resist a trip back. The wide selection of links here is a true lure - hitting the sweet spot between cheap and tasty. Our smoked and spicy beer sausage was only $8, which left plenty of dough left over for some brew (we enjoyed  pint of a slightly hoppy label called A Little Sumpin' Sumpin'). The sauerkraut and peppers were amply portioned and the bar has options like spicy brown mustard and curry ketchup that you can slather on. The sausage slinger is still off the radar - it was pretty empty on our visit - so we suggest snagging a seat at those communal tables before the hood catches wind.
