Taqueria Del Sol Opening in Willow Grove on October 22

Restaurant franchise Taqueria Del Sol is planning to open one of its first locations outside Georgia in Willow Grove on October 22. The southwestern/Mexican fast-casual restaurant will offer affordable selections such as tacos (fish, fried chicken, smoked pork), soups, salads and special entrees like shrimp 'n' grits and buttermilk fried chicken. The Southern influenced menu will be complemented by beverages from a full bar, featuring an extensive tequila list and the ability to customize your own margarita. As we reported last year, other nearby locations are in the works, including a rumor of one in Center City before the year ends  (4001 Welsh Road, Willow Grove; 215-657-4500).
