Traditionally held over two weeks from late September and into early October, Oktoberfest is the longest running annual beer festival in the world. The celebration in Bavaria is also the world’s largest fair, drawing more than five million people to Munich, who imbibe untold millions of liters of brew. However, you don’t have to trek across the Atlantic to take part in the festivities - several bars in Philadelphia are hosting Oktoberfest events, complete with German beer, food and general fun.
