This week, we published a list of restaurant deal breakers, also known as the things that will make you never come back if you experience them while out to eat. This list stirred up some debate, and the comments included few other epic restaurant fails that made folks determined to stay away. Here are our favorites below, and keep this deal breakers coming in the comments:
"First I check out the restroom before I am seated to see if it is clean, well-stocked. My wife taught me to do this, as her reasoning was if they don't keep the restrooms clean, how clean is the kitchen????"
Lack of Handicapped Access
"Hmmm..how about a place where they have not thought through the concept of wheelchair access? No accessible bathrooms and our restaurants is impossible to maneuver. That will make one not want to comeback."
"My sister was served a meal and the waiter asked if he could have some of her french fries." [Editor's Note: um, really?]
Painfully Long Waits
"Also, when it takes for-freaking-ever to get your check. Some of us are on a lunch HOUR, you know, not TWO hours."
"If I make a reservation, I expect to be seated within 5 minutes of my arrival. I've had several instances where I had to wait up to 40 minutes. If they can't get something as simple as blocking off a table right, I wonder what else they're not doing right."
