More Details Emerge About Coya

Earlier this week we told you that the Peruvian food trend was still going strong in London. And today more details have emerged about Coya - one of the most anticipated openings of the year from Arjun Waney (Zuma, La Petite Maison, Roka). Here are 6 things you need to know about the new restaurant.

1. In the kitchen you will find chef Sanjay Dwivedi, who spent a year travelling all over South American looking for inspiration for his menu. He has previously worked at Zaika, Le Caprice and The Ivy as well as Cala and Astrid y Gaston in Lima.

2. There will be a ceviche bar and of course a pisco bar with authentic botija mud containers where pisco is traditionally stored.

3. The space will also be a private members club. Members will have use of a separate dining area that seats 50, an outdoor terrace and bar.

4. Live bands and DJ's will play both Latin music as well as popular Western tunes.

5. The 100 cover restaurant will open in early November.

6. On the menu we can expect ceviche, tiraditos as well as crayfish, coriander, chilli pepper soup; iron cast pot rice with Chilean sea bass, sweet corn and lime and much much more.
