Michael Mina Launches New Multimedia Website Cook Taste Eat

Celebrity chef Michael Mina is throwing himself into the media game with the launch of Cook Taste Eat, a new Bay Area-based daily email and website start-up that delivers culinary instructional videos and recipes designed to inspire and help home cooks step up their culinary game. Mina has paired up with entrepreneur Tanya Melillo and Grammy winning singer/songwriter Michelle Branch to create the free site which delivers the offerings du jour to subscriber's inboxes. Mina has tapped into his Rolodex to recruit the nation's top chefs for the videos, including locally based Charles Phan (Slanted Door), Mourad Lahlou (Aziza), Michael Chiarello (Bottega) and Ken Tominga (Hana).

Here's an interesting twist. For anyone lucky enough to live nearby one of Mina's many restaurants, the featured weekly menu of Cook Taste Eat will be featured at all 20 of his restaurants, thus offering diners from San Francisco to Vegas to Baltimore to chance to taste the recipes first-hand before attempting to create them at home. For more info and to sign up for the daily email, go to the Cook Taste Eat website.
