Fans of the McDonald's cult sandwich,
McRib, which returns annually around October/November, will have to wait just a little bit longer for saucy gratification this year - looks like the McRib will not be officially "back" until late December. So what's up with the delay? Ad Age reports that basically, like everything else, it's global warming's fault. Last year's mild winter kept sales higher than usual in Q4, meaning this year's sales are going to need that extra kick in the pants in order to match up. Pushing the launch date back to the Christmas season will increase the chances for promo opps which will help bolster sales (besides doesn't every kid want a McRib in his Christmas stocking?) Also look out for a new menu item to drop around the same time - the Cheddar Bacon Onion Angus Burger. Kaboom. Read more about this and more on McRib's delay
here.
Preposterous! This needs to be on Ombama's candidate platform.
