While plans for a steakhouse/bistro in LIC are still on the horizon, fans of the shuttered Quebecois diner M. Wells will delight in the news that
M. Wells Dinette at MoMA's PS1 (from alums Hugue Dufour and Sarah Obraitis) will open tomorrow. The cafeteria-style concept will serve its quirky small plates fare inside a former school room. Expect plates like red-wine soup and a tart of snails with bone marrow, according to the
NY Times.

Quality Meats will open 200-seater
Quality Italian one block away in mid-2013 at 57 W. 57th Street with a space designed by AvroKO.
