A fake national holiday we can really, really get behind, today we celebrate the cheeseburger. Whether it's a classic (hello,

The Parish), or, fine, even vegetarian (surprsingly Houston's
has a great one), we love a burger with cheese on a bun. If you really want to party, check out
Fuku Burger in Hollywood, which features the Sumo Burger, a $40 two-and-a-half pound beast that if finished in 10 minutes, you'll get the burger on the house, a T-shirt, and the chance to win "Fuku for life." In case you needed that.
Point is: we have no shortage of great cheeseburgers in LA, whether
