Philadelphia Daily News gossip columnist Dan Gross drops this tidbit today: Georges Perrier has set a date for a guest chef dinner at Heirloom in Chestnut Hill. Apparently the former Le Bec Fin proprietor was in for dinner with his daughter, and chef Al Paris was able to convince the semi-retired toque to come back to the kitchen. The one-time event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 14. This will be the first time Perrier cooks in public since last spring’s Le Bec Fin sale. No details have been released, but this is sure to be a popular dinner, so we’ll keep you posted.
