| Half-priced wine at Akasha tonight |
You know how much downtown Culver City has blossomed over the last few years, with a slew of restaurants and bars, shopping, theaters there's just plenty to explore. And this is a good night to do it: Every third Wednesday of the month, there's a giant
block party in downtown Culver City, which means special deals, discounts and freebies at a bunch of spots. There are food specials at
K-Zo (free sweet treat with meal), tailgating food and live music at
Ford's Filling Station, and all-you-can-eat mussels at
Meet ($25.95, includes one order of fries).
It's also a really good night for gettin' boozy:
Akasha has half-price bottles of wine;
BottleRock extends its happy hour until 9 PM ($4 glasses of wine, plus select bottles for only $20); buy two margaritas at
Kay 'N Dave's Cantina and get one free; and
