Del Popolo To Sling Pies Tomorrow at Downtown's Park(ing) Day Event

Block out your lunch hour tomorrow because pop-up pizzaiolo Jon Darksy will be parking his big bad Del Popolo mobile pizzeria (and hogging up plenty of parking spots) at Grant and Geary from 11:30 AM-2 PM as part of a global day of action in which artist, designers and citizens temporarily occupy metered parking spaces and transform them into public open spaces. Joining Del Popolo will be Flora Grubb, toting in temporary garden elements and architecture firm Bohlin Cywinski Jackson providing modular outdoor furniture as makeshift seating for the alfresco event.
