Coming Soon: K-Town - Gizzi Erksine's New Korean Pop-Up

Last week we told you about our recent obsession with Korean food. Today the Evening Standard reported that celebrity chef and TV presenter Gizzi Erksine is launching a pop-up eatery inspired by New York's Korean quarter. (Trend alert?)

Open for 2 nights only from October 10-12 in Concrete (basement of Pizza East) in Shoreditch, she has created a 5-course menu which includes a Southern twist on Korean fried chicken and plans to make the space feel 'as much like a dirty 1980s backstreet Korean joint as possible - lots of neon and steam, a stage with long communal tables and food thrown at you.'

Why Korean? Erskine grew up in Thailand and feels most at home in Asia. Book now - we predict this one will be a sell out.

K-Town, Concrete, 56 Shoreditch High Street, E1 6JJ. To book, e-mail bookings@concretespace.co.uk
