Coming Soon: The Bel Air Bar & Grill Reopens This Fall

Smart for Susan Disney Lord to close the Bel Air Bar & Grill for the last year and a half. The 405 construction, and resulting clustermess on Sepulveda, would keep anyone not within spitting distance away from the longtime neighborhood haunt. But after a complete overhaul, the restaurant and bar will reopen this November.

The restaurant itself has practically doubled in size with its new two-level space, including a bar and lounge, two dining rooms, a splashy private dining room, views of the Getty Center form an outdoor terrace, and The Shack in the Back, a grab-and-go breakfast, coffee and lunch concept in the back. There are fireplaces throughout, and and views of the Getty Center from an outdoor terrace. The menu sticks to American classics like grilled Neiman Ranch steaks, mac and cheese, the chopped salad, and some new veggie and pescatarian options. Dinner service begins on November 9, with lunch coming a few days later.
