Chocolate Bar, Yoga, Brunch and More on Weekend Dining Agenda

Café Fleuri's chocolate bar
Coming into the weekend (we know hump day can be hard), we have a few food-focused events in mind for you to attend.
Tonight, enjoy a four-course meal paired with wines from Turley Wine Cellars at Legal Harborside in the Seaport District. The meal includes grilled swordfish, torchon of foie gras, flat-iron steak and finished with a cheese course. Turley Wines are based in California’s Central Coast (6:30 for passed hors d’oeuvres; $115 per person, excluding tax and gratuity; 617-530-9470).

On Friday, September 14, bring the kids (or just yourselves) to the Back-to-School Fine Dining celebration at the Seaport Boston Hotel’s Aura. It’s a perfect set-up: you and yours sit down for an elegant meal of gazpacho, wild salmon and chocolate mousse (and other selections) while the kids enjoy their own dinner, make crafts or watch a movie (5:30-8 PM; $30 for adults, excluding tax and gratuity; 617-385-4300).

Saturday, September 15, the WGBH Food & Wine Festival continues its events (check out our earlier post on happenings) or check out Café Fleuri’s Chocolate Bar in The Langham, Boston - an extravagant spread of everything chocolate, from coco-infused cocktails to savories and desserts. This is the 24th season for the chocolate bar, which takes place every Saturday now through June 22, 2013 (11 AM-3 PM; $40 for adults; $55 includes two chocolate cocktails; $28 for children 5-13; 617-451-1900, ext. 7125).

Sunday, September 16, get in touch with your inner yogi and head to the Ashmont Grill in Dorchester, where you can practice downward dog on the back garden patio, thanks to Milton Yoga, then toast your accomplishments with a mimosa and brunch (9:30 AM class starts, followed by brunch; $25 per person; call to register, 781-534-9642).
