Brooklyn Booze: Beer and Cocktail Events Coming Up

The first week of October is set to be a boozy one in Brooklyn. First up, it's Brooklyn Shaken & Stirred, which takes over The Green Building on October 2 to showcase the best cocktails that the borough has to offer. Tickets are $45 and will get you tipples from joints like Pok Pok and Fort Defiance. The event runs from 6 to 9 PM and you can get info here.

On Saturday the 6, the Village Voice will hold their annual Brooklyn Pour craft beer festival at Skylight One Hanson in Fort Greene. In addition to pours from brewers like Dark Horse and Davidson Brothers, the event will include a food court with bites from joints like Lucky 777 Chili and Chez Lola.
