British Street Food Awards Roll Into Town

By Malika Dalamal We take our own look at Food Truck of the Week, but this weekend roaming food stalls will battle it out for a more official prize at the British Street Food Awards final.

Buy tickets on Saturday (11 AM-8 PM) and Sunday (11 AM-5 PM) to attend what is essentially a massive street party in Hoxton and sample delicious dishes from the most popular vans, trucks and trailers from around the country, including Street Kitchen, The Mussel Men and Luardos. Judges including cookbook writer Fay Ripley, celebrity chef Gizzi Erskine and Meat Liquor founder Yianni Papoutsis will announce the winner on Sunday at 5 PM. The winning truck will recieve an attachment with M & S's new product development team and a sit down with the people behind award-winning street food restaurant Wahaca. May the best van win.
