Brew All The President’s Beers With This At-Home Kit

President Obama got cool points when he announced that the White House was brewing not one, but two beers. That was the good news, the bad news was it looked like us lowly American beer fans would be getting nowhere near the small-batch brew anytime soon.

Cheers to us being wrong. As soon as the White House released the recipe for their Honey Ale and Honey Porter, Brew Camp released their home brewing kits using them same recipe and similar ingredients (The Prez's beer uses honey harvested from Michelle Obama's beehives, but Brew Camp kit contains local Illinois raised honey). The kits are avilible at Brew Camps storefront in Chicago's Lincoln Square or online.

For drinkers who prefer a less hand-on approach, two demo classes have been scheduled for this Sunday and Sunday the 23rd for those of you lucky enough to be in the Windy City.
