On a whim we picked up a
Magnolia Bakery icebox cake for a friend's birthday, and it was one of the most delicious, easy, light cakes we've ever tasted. The cake is simply fresh-baked chocolate wafer cookies and strawberry whipped cream. It's neither too heavy or sweet - the stuff dreams are made of. In fact, it tastes like a light, airy dream. Birthday girl: wowed. These cakes don't hold candles well, but we'll take cake over candles any day.
