Best Thing We Ate This Weekend: Wasabi Prawns at Kai

Michelin starred Kai in Mayfair is probably the most elegant Chinese restaurant in London - not only for the service but also the carefully thought out twists on classic dishes and the picture perfect presentation.

The wasabi prawns are served as a starter drenched in creamy wasabi mayonnaise. Each king prawn is covered in a light and crispy tempura batter and then topped with chopped mango and basil seeds for the perfect mix of flavours and textures. And the mayo takes the kick out of the otherwise spicy wasabi so you don't worry about setting your mouth on fire.
