| Pappardelle al cinghiale at Bricco |
We recently enjoyed a three-course meal at
Bricco in the North End, which included the likes of dry-roasted octopus, steamed mussels in a garlicky broth and chickpea frittelle. But the dish that really had us cooing was the pappardelle al cinghiale - the housemade flat, wide noodles intertwined with succulent wild boar braised in red wine and porcini mushrooms, a hearty yet elegant combination perfect for fall ($22; 617-248-6800).
