Adding to the long list of new burgers on the London scene is Burger Breakout, launching at The Old Crown pub on New Oxford Street at the beginning of October.
The popular burger pop-up will be a permanent fixture at the gastropub serving a variation on the traditional beef burger. On the menu expect to see The Bambi Bought It (venison patty, brie, beetroot pickle), The Swine Time (24-hour-cooked pulled pork, cheese and apple and jalapeno mayo) and more traditional OC Burger (beef patty, smoked onion jam, hot pickle, lettuce). All burgers come with smoked horseradish salted chips as well as alcoholic milkshakes and Sorbombs like Jack Daniels sorbet with Coke jelly. Sounds like our kind of place!
